Help Us Table At The Heart of Early Learning Open House, Appreciation & Resource Fair
We need a few Meeters & Greeters for the Placer County Office of Education's Heart of Early Learning Open House, Appreciation & Resource Fair.
This annual event is in honor of the National Provider Appreciation Day to recognize and honor child care providers, educators and early childhood professionals.
Date/Time: Wednesday, May 7 - 5:30pm-7:00pm
Location: 1400 West Stanford Ranch Road, Rocklin, CA 95765
What you will be doing:
- Assist Stand Up Placer staff and/or crisis intervention certified volunteers with tabling/information booth coverage.
- Meet and greet attendees.
- Provide attendees with an overview of Stand Up Placer services.
- Answer attendee questions and provide any handouts/materials.
- You may be helping with setting up and taking down of the information table depending on the shift your choose.
Your volunteer impact: For every hour you volunteer as a Community Meeter & Greeter, we receive $24/per hour in grant funding match. This is very significant and helps us in meeting our grant requirements.
