Stand Up Placer is thrilled to be one of the featured non-profits in Light The World Giving Machine.
What is the Light the World Giving Machine? The Giving Machine is a large red vending machine where people donate to various local and international charities. Users select and "purchase" items like food, clothing, or school supplies through a credit card payment, and the donation is delivered to the selected charity. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sponsors the machines and covers all operating costs, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly to the chosen nonprofits.
What you will be doing: Happily greeting shoppers and answering any questions they may have about the Giving Machine and Stand Up Placer.
All training will be provide on-site: Plan to arrive about 15 minutes prior to your shift. Stand Up Placer staff and/or Stand Up Placer volunteer will show you the ropes.
Dress code: Business casual. You will be provided with Giving Machine beanie or scarf.
Location: Westfield Galleria at Roseville - 1151 Galleria Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678 - Just outside of the Peloton Store, first floor.
