Help Us Table At The Placer 4 Mental Health Wellness Fair!
We need community meeters & greeters at the 2026 Placer 4 Mental Health Wellness Fair.
About the event: The Placer 4 Mental Health Fair provides an opportunity for organizations to share resources, engage directly with the community, and highlight the important work you are doing for those who need it the most. We anticipate a diverse audience of individuals, families, and community stakeholders who are eager to learn about available services, supports, and wellness initiatives. Last year we estimated over 800 people in attendance. This event is hosted by Placer County District Attorney's Office, Placer County Health and Human Services, and AMI Housing, Inc., in the shared goal of promoting wellness, recovery, and connection in the community.
Date/Time: Thursday, May 21, 10:30am-5:00pm (various shifts available)
Location: Maidu Community Center - 1550 Maidu Drive, Roseville, CA 95661
What you will be doing:
- Assist Stand Up Placer staff and/or crisis intervention certified volunteers with tabling/information booth coverage.
- Meet and greet attendees.
- Provide attendees with an overview of Stand Up Placer services and fun give-aways.
- You may be helping with setting up and taking down of the information table depending on the shift you choose.
- All training will be provided on-site.
Your volunteer impact: For every hour you volunteer as a Community Meeter & Greeter, we receive $24/per hour in grant funding match. This is very significant and helps us in meeting our grant requirements.
