Come help us at the Sierra College Welcome Event!
Hosted by Student Enrollment and Support Services, this event connects new and returning students with the programs, services, and community resources available to support their success during the Fall 2026 semester.
Date/Time: Tuesday, August 25th - 9:30am-2:30pm (2 shifts available)
Location: Sierra College - J Building/Cafeteria - 5100
Sierra College Blvd, Rocklin, CA 95677
What you will be doing:
- Help staff with setting up and/or packing up our tabling
materials.
- Assist Stand Up Placer staff and/or crisis intervention
certified volunteers with tabling/information booth coverage.
- Meet and greet attendees.
- Provide brochures and materials.
- All training will be provided on site.
Your volunteer impact: For every hour you volunteer as a Community Meeter & Greeter, we receive $24/per hour in grant funding match. This is very significant and helps us in meeting our grant requirements.
