Did you know we have a vital Housing Program? We help our clients secure housing and advocate on their behalf.
It is exciting to place a client in a new home! But often, our clients need moving help. If you have some extra brawn, sign up to be a Mighty Mover.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- In coordination with our Housing Team, help housing clients with moving help.
- This may include loading boxes into a moving truck and unloading boxes at their new location. Sometimes you will be loading/unloading appliances and other large furniture items.
- Truck and dolly will be provided.
YOUR VOLUNTEER IMPACT: For every hour you volunteer as a Mighty Mover, we receive $24/per hour in grant funding match. This is very significant and helps us in meeting our grant requirements. Your time also helps our hard-working Housing Program staff advocates tremendously.
